This is the minimum service available and is intended for platform transmissions no longer of use to the User or the global community. To qualify for inactive status, a platform: 1) must have transmitted in Standard Service or Limited Use Service for a minimum of 2 months, 2) cannot be processed through a Local User Terminal (LUT) or direct readout station, and 3) cannot be retrieved or reverted to another service. ID numbers cannot be reused. Data from platforms declared inactive will not be accessible. |
