Back-up Service is available to Argos Users generally not requiring access to their results. For example, if a Program ends with transmitters still active, the User is responsible for charges generated by the resulting transmissions. Transferring the transmitters into Back-up Service generally will reduce the charges incurred. Although data generated under Back-up Service is not accessible, Users can request that Back-up Service be converted to Standard Service to reinstate access. This applies to archived data as well.
