The Argos System enables Users to geographically locate and obtain data from autonomous platforms, whether fixed or mobile. Standard service is the basic service to accomplish this. Under Standard Service, the Argos processing centers acquire the data, perform necessary calculations, generate result files, and archive data. In many cases, results can be obtained in near real-time, via Automatic Distribution Service (ADS) or by on-line interrogation. Archived data can be supplied on floppy diskette or CD-Rom. Users have full access to results, providing that the required processing has been specified in a Technical File supplied by the User. |
